               Welcome All!  Merry Meet!

Mobile Systems Is Growing!

Mobile Systems has obtained both a state certified nursery license and a seed permit, both from the State Department of Agriculture.  So plants and seeds can now be purchased through this web site.  The certificates are on view at the location of the business.  Medicinal plants as well as local and native trees and shrubs are available.  Mobile Systems has joined the "Grow Native" organization as well.  You will now see the "Grow Native" logo on this site.  The "Grow Native" organization is often mentioned and promoted in brochures mailed to county residents by the Saint Louis County Department of Health.

More small electronic items will soon be listed on this site.  Many catalogs still received by the company occasionally have very good deals on common items.  For instance, both "AA" and "AAA" NiMH [better and more ecologically friendly than NiCads] are available for $5 each, tax and shipping included.  [See Battery Chargers] There will be more to come.

So please check this site when you have time, as there should be many major changes over the near future.

Mobile Systems is also involved in selling electric scooters in the Saint Louis, Missouri area.  Scooters available and information on their use, speed and range as well as the use of electric scooters in combination with public transportation is available on the Electric Scooters page.  The link to the scooter page is on the left hand side of this page.

The About Us page details the history and philosophy of this business and provides a more detailed explanation of the motivations behind this business and the various social concerns which this business considers important in today's disposable society.  This business is very concerned with the effects of human activity on the environment and is dedicated to finding alternative methods to produce energy, use ecologically friendly transportation and reduce and reuse waste material.  This site will not only be dedicated to sales, but to the dissemination of other information relevant to ecological concerns.  This Home Page will be used to provide information on such matters and others as well.

Another area which will be available on this site is available medicinal herbs, such as Echinacea, hyssop, valerian root and others that have been grown by this business.  Seeds for several of these plants may be available at times and anyone interesting in exchanging seeds should contact me using the Contact Us page;  the link is on the left.  Seed lists and prices are on the Wizard's Plants page.

Ecologically friendly inventions are also of interest and some basic ideas being investigated by this company will be explained briefly here.  If you are interested in more details on any ideas mentioned here, please feel free to contact me for more details.

Electronic Equipment and Home Appliances

Any questions that are about these items are also welcome, as I repaired these types of equipment for over 20 years [see About Us].  Advice is available for both and parts are available for home appliances.  Electronic parts for older equipment are available but limited to the stock on hand.

Hydrogen Refueling Station

I have found a supplier for hydrogen refueling units and I am interested in learning whether there is a sufficient market for hydrogen fuel in Saint Louis to make the investment worthwhile.  The units are similar to standard gasoline pumps, only they provide hydrogen that is more than 99% pure at a pressure that is currently standard for refueling vehicles.  The units are also capable of filling tanks which can be kept on hand and exchanged with empty tanks, as some vehicles apparently have removable tanks.  I am interested in hearing from anyone who would make use of a hydrogen refueling station in South Saint Louis County, approximately 1 mile south of the city limits.  I am interested in hearing from individuals as well as companies with fleets of vehicles.  Out of town companies with hydrogen vehicles that do not have the range to travel from their site to Saint Louis and back without refueling may be particularly interested in such a facility.  Any questions, comments or thoughts on this investment would be greatly appreciated.  Please use the "Contact Us" link at the left to provide your input on this subject.

One of the most versatile waste items used here is 2 liter soda bottles.  By punching holes in the bottom of a 2 liter bottle and cutting off the top, then placing this bottle inside a clear 2 liter bottle with the top removed, a planter is constructed.  The water runs through the first bottle and the amount of water reserve for the plants can be seen in the bottom of the clear bottle.  This allows for proper watering and helps prevent over watering.  These planters also fit well on most windowsills so that plants can be grown year round.  Click on the pictures above for step-by-step directions to make the planters.  Other ideas which have not yet been tested are filling the bottles with sand or gravel and burying them half way in order to make a garden border.  If the bottom ends are cut from some bottles and glued onto the top of bottles with the lids on, the bottoms interlock and can be glued with silicone caulk to make a column of bottles.  If several columns are then glued together side by side, again with silicone caulk, a wall can be formed with excellent insulating properties, as dead air space is the best insulator and the fundamental basis for all insulation is dead air space.  A small pinhole may be needed in the bottle on the side facing the interior of the structure so that temperature variations will not cause the bottles to expand and contract and thereby cause separation of the bottles.

Ecologically Friendly Inventions

Some design concepts currently being investigated include a solar steam engine and a method of collecting, storing and releasing lightning in a controlled manner.  Why we insist on creating electrical power when there is so much electricity around us is difficult to understand unless the money made by major corporations selling power is the overriding factor considered by these corporations.  Lightning is already electrical power, so there are no conversion costs as there are with solar energy and wind power.  The environmental impact should be minimal unless such large amounts are collected that the balance of ions and electrical charges of the entire planet are altered, which is highly unlikely.  Again, for more information please contact me.  My only request is that any information provided is for personal enlightenment only and will not be given or sold to any major corporation.  Such corporations may attempt to block the development of such techniques, robbing the World of a possibly unlimited and clean source of energy.

Other Topics

Any other topics you are interested in or have questions about are welcome.  Only by discussing alternative ideas can we break away from the status quo and improve the World for ourselves and for future generations.  Thank you for reading this page and feel free to contact me at any time.  Have a Good One!  Love, Peace and Perception
